Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Traffic in Rochester peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I tried this restaurant one time. The restaurant is quite small, so the tables are arranged fairly close together. The food was just okay for meβ€”nothing particularly outstanding, but it was decent. The staff was friendly. We also didn’t have to wait very long for our food after ordering. I may have been lucky with the timing. the restaurant was clean, the service was friendly, and the food came out quickly.

I was looking for a good Bibimbap, and I chose the right place with this one, with the sizzling hot pan, and the fried egg that is SO needed πŸ˜‹ The service was great too. Overall a great place for your favorite Korean specialties.

A small restaurant tucked inside the Genesee Valley Market area. The Chicken Katsu was super fresh and perfectly crunchy. The chicken gyoza was super yummy as well. The white rice was cooked perfectly, and the kimchi and spicy cucumber side dishes were a really nice touch. The restaurant was very busy, but the wait to be seated wasn’t long, and the food came out in great timing. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes!

The soups and stews are giant. You can feed three our four people just with the soup. You get rice and appetizers included. The flavors are strong and hot, typical of the korean palate. If you never had korean food get the chicken or beef bolgolgi. Try the seafood pancake. The kalbi ribs are superb. Everyone will enjoy those. As this cuisine grows on you you can get spicier. Many Koreans eat here, which is a good sign of authenticity. American wines and korean spirits as well. Various teas, including honey citrus which is fabulous. Quality is consistently high, and the cleanliness is fine as well.
